I’ve been dreaming of warmer weather. All day. Every day. I’m chilled to the bone and ready for the radiant rays of warm sunshine, the glimmer of light on the lake, and a wardrobe that requires less than 5 layers! When going through my photos from 2013, I came across a wedding that had me totally excited for some sun!

This past fall I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Colleen + Wes alongside the amazing Heather of Heather DeCamp Photography (you can see her post here!). I was and still am drooling over Colleen’s custom made lace dress, designed by her friend and bridesmaid! I love how unique it is, paired with a pop of color in her shoes (which she got off Ebay!) Gotta love a girl who’s resourceful. 🙂 We started the day at The Renaissance Hotel, traveled to St. Josephat for the ceremony, and then to Olive park for some sunny lakeside portraits. It was a beautiful day for a wedding and so lucky to have been a part of it!
