I don’t know about you, but I’m getting a little cabin fever. The snow, the cold…it’s making me a little nutty! I’m ready to stop walking around in my sleeping-bag-like winter coat and boots, and bust out my ballet flats and pretty dresses. With that being said, how about a little style inspiration for a spring engagement shoot?

Spring is one of my favorite times of year and is a great time for you and your hunnie to have photos taken, whether they be for an engagement, to update the art in your home, or just because. With the weather being so unpredictable (especially in Chicago!) it’s good to layer your outfit. A classic trench coat looks sleek outdoors, and with a bold dress underneath, you can easily lose the coat for an indoor location…think 2 looks, without the actual outfit change! These looks can always be altered to fit the weather by swapping out ballet flats/heels for your favorite pair of boots or even wellies for a rainy day session.
