Who says a honeymoon only happens once? Brian and I had so much fun on our european honeymoon in 2015 that we decided we wanted to ‘honeymoon’ every year. To carve out some time to relax and recharge, just the two of us. Last November we traveled to Palm Springs, CA on our second honeymoon and have been planning our return ever since! Palm Springs is known for it’s midcentury-modern architecture, stylish boutique hotels and for being a hollywood hot spot since the 1920s. Unlike our european vacation where we packed our days from morning to night, we spent most of our time enjoying cocktails by the pool at The Avalon and soaking up the sun and mountain view. We checked out the Colony Palms Hotel (renovated in 2007 in collaboration with designer Martyn Lawrence-Bullard) for a poolside happy hour and of course a vacation in Palm Springs wouldn’t be complete without a trip to The Parker (and a photo in front of the iconic entrance). Next up for travel this year: Colorado, NYC, and Naples, FL.
