It was a match. Mattie was running the Chicago marathon the following day, and she and James made plans to meet that night at the local bar, Bangers and Lace. Living very busy lives, they each had decided to give online dating a try and had found each other on Match.com. Both a little hesitant (she made him pick her up at the corner, just to be safe) but they were looking to try something new. That night sitting at the bar by the window, they made quiet conversation while unknowingly writing the beginning of their love story. The next day Mattie ran the Chicago marathon and had an email from James waiting in her inbox.

I could not be more excited to be working with such an amazing couple and am so looking forward to shooting their wedding this November.
