BACK TO ABOUT ME

HANDWRITTEN snail MAIL.

My Grandma had the prettiest handwriting and was a beautiful poet, always sending the loveliest little notes. You can learn so much about a person through their handwriting. And who doesn't love getting surprises in the mail?

SPONTANEOUS date NIGHTS.

Living in Chicago never gets old. Whether its cocktails downtown or grabbing a bite to eat at a favorite neighborhood joint, some of my favorite nights began with no plans at all.

LOVE POST ITS from BRIAN.

I find them all over...my desk, the front door, our fridge. These little messages are our modern day love notes to each other. It's pretty hard not to fall in love with a guy who makes a flip book out of post its, just to tell you how much he loves you. Am I right?

SUMMER dining AL FRESCO.

I may be living in the wrong region for this, as Chicago summers are brief. But there is nothing better than a picnic in Millenium Park or tapas on the patio. In my opinion, the food tastes that much better...and the wine too!

A GREAT PAIR of HIGH HEELS.

I call them my 'power pumps.' And at 5'9 I'm not necessarily aiming to look any taller, but to feel a little taller. Who doesn't love that extra confidence boost your favorite heels bring to your day?
